About us

Our Mission is to bring tennis to many as possible especially our youth. We back this up by offering private tennis lessons with top rated, certified instructors at rates significantly less than the exorbitant rates charged by private tennis clubs.

Formal Director, current Head Tennis Professional Bobby Ritacco has 12 years of full time experience teaching kids and adults of all ages and levels. He is one of a select group of instructors who are certified as a "Professional" by both the USPTA and the PTR. His best attributes are his patience and his sense of humor.

He does not teach tennis for the money but because he truly loves teaching tennis. Several years’ experience as Head Tennis Coach for Pedro Menendez High School.

Current Tennis Director for St. Augustine Tennis, Vita Avery grew up in Riga, Latvia where she was ranked in the top 10 in Women's singles and was selected for the Fed Cup Team. After high school, Vita came to Virginia where she played as number #1 player for NIAI college. While in College, Coach Vita was ranked nationally # 15 in women's doubles and #30 in singles.

Coach Vita has over 10 years’ experience teaching tennis to both children and adults from beginners to tournament players. She is a certified PTR Professional. Currently tennis coach for Gamble Rogers Middle School.. Coach Vita plays ITF Woman’s tournaments and National USTA tournaments. In 2017 she represented Florida in National Women’s Team Event.
